OUR COVID-19 POLICY
We are extremely happy to have travel between NZ and the Cook Islands open again and will be playing our part to ensure that all we keep all our guests, as well as our Cook Island community, as safe as possible. This page will be updated regularly to ensure we are up-to-date with all the current COVID information.
Due to the ever changing and unpredictable affects COVID-19 is having on travel worldwide, Makayla Palms will approve any refunds or credit notes, as well as waive any cancellation fees or amendment fees, for any booking that needs to be changed due to Government border restrictions or ill health related to COVID-19.

Our COVID procedures keeping you safe
We have signed up to the ‘Cook Islands Promise’, which is a joint commitment between hosts and guests to safeguard the health of our island. The actions of our promise will endeavour to keep the Cook Islands safe from COVID-19. For details see: https://cookislands.travel/our-promise
We will be keeping the details of all visitors to our villas to help with any contact tracing undertaken by the Ministry of Health.
We follow stringent hygiene practices at Makayla Palms, ensuring regular hand washing, mask wearing if required and the use of disinfectant on all our surfaces in all the villas and our office and storeroom.
